I know what it feels like to be handed a baby after major surgery and told you're fine.

I'm Amy the founder of Caesarean Phoenix,

c-section survivor twice over, and rehabilitation specialist with over fifteen years of experience. This is my story. And the reason I built everything you'll find here.

My first c-section left me feeling truly broken.

When my son Arthur was born, my birth plan went out of the window and I ended up in emergency surgery. I was not prepared for it. Nobody was there to prepare me. And when it was over, when I was handed this tiny, perfect baby and sent home, I felt shattered in a way I couldn't put into words.

Physically, I didn't understand what my body had just been through. Emotionally, I felt disconnected from myself in a way that frightened me, and the support I received? A six-week check that told me I was fine, and nothing more.

I was not fine.

Over Fifteen Years of Knowledge.

Before becoming a mother, I spent over a decade teaching rehabilitation through yoga and Pilates. I trained for seven years under Dr Elena Voyce, building a deep understanding of how the body moves, heals, and compensates. When the NHS gave me nothing after Arthur's birth, I went looking for answers myself. I knew there had to be a way to heal properly, at every level, and painstakingly, I found it.

The training behind the method

This method was not built in a classroom. It was built in treatment rooms, in my own recovery from two c-sections, and through six years of working solely with women like you, learning what actually works, and leaving behind everything that doesn't.

Over 15 years of Rehabilitation knowledge

Then my daughter Alyssia arrived. Also by c-section. And something shifted.

By the time Alyssia was born, I had been quietly building a body of knowledge about c-section recovery. And from day one of my second recovery, I applied everything I had learned; the scar work, the breathwork, the staged rehabilitation, the mindset practices.

The difference was extraordinary. My six-week recovery was noticeably, measurably better than the first. And in that moment, that clear, sudden moment of realisation, I knew exactly what I was meant to do.

These women needed this, all of them. The ones who were six weeks out and the ones who were six years out. The ones who had been told they were fine and knew they weren't. The ones who had lost hope.
Caesarean Phoenix was born.

This is not bounce-back culture. This is real healing.

There is no shortage of postnatal fitness content online. What there is a shortage of is honest, expert, deeply personal support for women after a c-section. Support that goes deeper than the six-week check, deeper than generic core exercises, deeper than being told to "just listen to your body."

Caesarean Phoenix goes deeper. We treat the scar tissue that is quietly working against your body. We rebuild real strength from the inside out. We address the emotional disconnection that nobody talks about and we do it with knowledgeable, empathetic, one-to-one guidance, from someone who has been exactly where you are.

No quick fixes

No pressure

No bounce-back culture

Just sustainable strength, a body that finally responds to what you ask of it, and the feeling, perhaps for the first time since your surgery, that you are truly, fully yourself again.

In the words of the women I work with.

"It really is specific to c-section recovery. With other courses and classes, I was always a little worried I was doing more damage. This feels manageable and sensible yet effective. I never touched or even looked at my scar after my first c-section, so I really appreciate the baby steps. And the programme addresses issues I would not have thought were to do with my c-section at all. I originally wasn't expecting mindset stuff and wouldn't really have entertained it, but it has really made a difference."

If you have been waiting for a sign, this is it!

Whether your c-section was six weeks ago or six years ago. Whether you have tried everything or don't know where to start. Whether you feel broken, numb, or just quietly not yourself, you are in the right place.

I built Caesarean Phoenix for you and I would be honoured to help you heal.
